Astraeus Airlines scheduled their Gatwick to Boa Vista flights for 10th July this year, flying weekly.
Unfortunately the fire truck which is essential to obtain the licence to operate from the airport was damaged in an exercise on Santiago.
The opening of the airport has been delayed until further notice - maybe six months from now.
